Zawal calculates the five daily prayer times on your device. Choose a city manually or use your location for prayer times and the Qibla compass. The core app works offline, without an account, ads or tracking.

See the calculation method and parameters behind the displayed times. Zawal supports ISNA, Muslim World League, Egyptian, Umm al-Qura and Dubai methods, Standard or Hanafi Asr, and high-latitude rules. You can adjust individual prayers to align with your trusted local timetable; calculated times can differ between authorities.
A quiet daily companion
The free app includes prayer reminders, next-prayer widgets, the Hijri date and a Quran close after prayer. Reminders use standard system notifications without adhan audio. The interface supports English and Arabic, including right-to-left layout.
Optional travel profiles
