Overview

ProofPack ("the App") is an Android application published by Evelaina for creating local property-condition evidence and sharing verified report packs. ProofPack is designed to be local-first and offline. This policy explains what the App processes, where it is stored, and what happens when you choose to export or share it.

Information you choose to enter

ProofPack stores the information you enter to create a job and report, which can include property or project details, dates, business or client contact details, notes, observations, report-section choices, and other text you decide to include. The App uses this information only on your device to organize the job, render a report, and assemble a report pack.

Photos and camera access

ProofPack requests the Android Camera permission when you choose to capture evidence. Captured photos are written to ProofPack's app-private, no-backup storage. The App does not automatically upload, publish, geotag, or send those photos to Evelaina. Current captures do not collect location data.

Photos and reports may contain people, addresses, interiors, documents, serial numbers, damage, or other sensitive information. You are responsible for having permission to photograph and share the subject matter and for checking the content before you send it to anyone.

Signed reports and local processing

ProofPack processes captures and report data on the device. It creates signed capture records and can generate a PDF and ZIP report pack containing the selected original files, report data, manifest, signature, and public key. These technical signatures help a recipient check whether a pack matches the files ProofPack assembled; they do not create a trusted timestamp, prove everything outside the camera frame, identify the photographer, or turn the report into a legal, insurance, regulatory, or professional certification.

Exporting and sharing

When you choose Save a copy, export originals, or Share pack, Android opens a system file picker or share sheet. The destination, recipient, and any further copying are controlled by you and by the third-party app or service you select. Evelaina does not receive the exported file, does not control the recipient's retention or security, and cannot delete a copy that you or another person has saved elsewhere.

What we do not collect

• No ProofPack account, sign-in, email address, phone number, contacts, or payment details.
• No precise or approximate location data, microphone recordings, or background sensor collection.
• No advertising ID, behavioral analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising.
• No automatic upload of photos, report text, manifests, or device files to an Evelaina server.
• No sale or sharing of your report content by Evelaina.

Storage, backup, and deletion

ProofPack keeps its working data and evidence in app-private storage. Android backup is disabled for this data, so uninstalling the App or clearing its app data can permanently remove the local copy. A report pack or original file that you intentionally save outside the App is not removed when ProofPack is uninstalled; manage those copies through the storage location or service where you saved them. Keep your own secure backup of anything you need to preserve.

Children's privacy and age suitability

ProofPack is a property and field-documentation tool intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children or minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The App does not verify a user's age; if you are under 18, do not use ProofPack.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can decline camera access; capture features will then be unavailable, while non-camera parts of the App may remain usable. You can choose what information to enter, which files to include, and whether to export or share a pack. Because Evelaina does not receive ProofPack's local records and has no ProofPack account, we cannot retrieve, correct, or remotely delete data that remains only on your device. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App or our legal obligations change. The current version will be posted at evelaina.com/proofpack/privacy with a revised “Last updated” date. If a future version adds accounts, cloud processing, analytics, advertising, or payments, this policy will be updated before those practices are introduced.
