By downloading or using Wilco ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
Wilco is a radio-phraseology trainer for student pilots: drills and scenario flights in which you hear a controller prompt, respond by voice or by typing, and receive element-by-element feedback, plus learning cards, spaced review, and (with Wilco Pro) AI-generated debriefs. It is a study and practice aid for ground use.
Wilco is not an aviation communication device, navigation tool, or source of operational information, and it must not be used while operating an aircraft. It is not an official FAA publication and not a substitute for instruction from a certificated flight instructor (CFI) or for the current AIM, regulations, and your instructor's guidance. Phraseology is transcribed from the FAA Aeronautical Information Manual and Pilot/Controller Glossary (public-domain U.S. government works) and audited against the editions cited in-app; editions change — always defer to current official publications and your CFI. Grading and AI debrief content are automated practice feedback, not flight instruction or endorsement.
You retain ownership of your training data (progress, records, notes, tail number). It is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud account. Practice transcripts are sent to our server only when you, as a Pro subscriber, request a debrief — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and how it is handled.

The drills, spaced review, type-to-respond mode, and the first two scenario flights are free. Wilco offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, "Wilco Pro", that unlocks all six scenario flights and AI debriefs. Pro is offered as Weekly ($7.99) or Monthly ($19.99) — prices in USD; prices may vary by region and current pricing is displayed in the App.
Pro debriefs are generated by an AI model from your flight's practice data. They are coaching suggestions that may occasionally be imperfect; the element-by-element grades shown in the App are computed deterministically on your device, and the debrief never changes them. Verify anything that matters against official publications and your instructor.
The App's design, code, and implementation are owned by Evelaina. The underlying FAA source material is public-domain U.S. government work, which the App cites. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App itself without written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, that speech recognition will transcribe every call correctly, that the debrief service will always be available, or that App content will match every edition of every official publication.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evelaina shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to outcomes of flight training, examinations, checkrides, or flight operations, decisions made in an aircraft, or loss of data due to device failure or App deletion.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The revised version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Evelaina operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
