Overview

VoxRate ("the App") is published by Evelaina. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Audio Data

VoxRate records short voice samples (10 seconds) to analyze your voice confidence. This audio data is:

• Processed entirely on your device using Apple's AVAudioEngine framework.
• Stored locally on your device so you can replay past recordings in your history.
• Never uploaded to any external server. No audio data ever leaves your device.

Data We Collect

All data is stored locally on your device only:

• Voice recordings — stored on-device for playback in your history. Never transmitted.
• Voice analysis scores — confidence, warmth, authority, and clarity scores calculated on-device.
• App preferences — daily recording counts, exercise streak, onboarding status. Stored in on-device storage.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not upload audio recordings or voice data to any server.
• We do not use speech-to-text or transcribe your recordings.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs that collect personal data.

Microphone Access

VoxRate requires microphone access to record your voice for analysis. The App will ask for your permission before accessing the microphone. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings. Without microphone access, the recording feature will not function, but all other features remain accessible.

Subscriptions

VoxRate offers optional in-app subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription management (including cancellation) is available through your Apple ID settings.

Third-Party Services

The App uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to verify subscription status. No personally identifiable information or audio data is shared. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Children's Privacy

VoxRate does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Deletion

All data, including voice recordings, is stored locally on your device. To delete all VoxRate data, simply delete the App from your device. This permanently removes all stored recordings, scores, and preferences.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
