Tenon ("the App") is a set of woodworking calculators and a project organizer, published by Evelaina. This policy explains how the App handles your information. In short: Tenon runs on your device and does not collect any personal data.
The App keeps the following on your device only. It is never received, seen, or stored by Evelaina:
If you are signed in to iCloud, your saved projects are stored in your own private iCloud account (via Apple's CloudKit) so they can sync across your devices. This data lives in your personal iCloud container and is managed by Apple. Evelaina cannot see, access, or retrieve it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, your projects are stored only on your device.
Tenon is self-contained. All calculations are performed on your device, and the App does not connect to any Evelaina server or third-party service to function. There is no account to create and no login.
Tenon offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, "Tenon Pro", that unlocks unlimited saved projects and material-list export. The calculators are always free. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Your subscription status is verified on your device through Apple's system; Evelaina does not receive or store your payment information.
For reference, the App's App Store privacy label declares Data Not Collected.
Tenon's calculators are designed to be accurate, but results are guidance for planning and purchasing lumber and sheet goods, not a guarantee. Actual wood dimensions, saw kerf, blade width, and cutting accuracy all affect real-world results. Always measure and double-check before cutting. Any building-code checks (such as stair rise and run) are informational only — verify against your local building code. Evelaina is not responsible for materials, costs, or outcomes arising from reliance on a calculation.
Tenon is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. (Since the App collects no personal information at all, this applies to everyone.)
Your projects and settings are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud account. Deleting the App removes the locally stored data; project data held in your iCloud can be managed or removed from your device's iCloud settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
