Rigwise is a set of rigging and lifting calculators — sling tension and load-angle factor, working load limit by hitch, D/d bend efficiency, center of gravity, and crane capacity — together with a Studio for saving your gear and lift plans. It is a planning aid for riggers and lift professionals.
Rigwise is a calculation aid. Verify every result against the manufacturer's tag, the load chart, and a qualified person. It is not a substitute for an engineered lift plan or professional judgment. Rigging is inherently hazardous; the user is solely responsible for the safety of any lift.
You are responsible for entering correct values, for verifying every result against rated equipment and applicable standards, and for ensuring that any lift is planned and carried out by qualified persons in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and site requirements.
Rigwise's calculators are built to be accurate and are tested against worked examples, but their results are guidance for planning — not a guarantee. Real-world capacity depends on the actual condition and rating of your equipment, the configuration of the lift, environmental conditions, and your own measurements and judgment. Always confirm working load limits and ratings against the manufacturer's tag and load chart before any lift.
You retain full ownership of everything you create in the App, including saved gear, lift plans, results, and notes. This content is stored on your device. Evelaina does not access or store your content.
You may use Rigwise for personal and professional rigging work. You agree not to:
The calculators are free. Rigwise offers an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase, "Rigwise Pro", that unlocks the Studio (saving unlimited gear and lift plans). There is no subscription and nothing renews.
The App's design, code, and calculator implementations are owned by Evelaina. Your saved gear, plans, and notes are yours. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App itself without written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any calculation will exactly match the needs of your specific lift. Calculator results are provided for planning purposes only.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evelaina shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to property damage, equipment failure, dropped or failed lifts, injury or death, or loss of data, whether or not arising from reliance on a calculation. You assume full responsibility for the safety of any lift.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The revised version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Evelaina operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
