Privacy Policy

Overview

Rigwise ("the App") is a set of rigging and lifting calculators with a Studio for saving gear and lift plans, published by Evelaina. This policy explains how the App handles your information. In short: Rigwise runs entirely on your device and does not collect any personal data.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App keeps the following on your device only. It is never received, seen, or stored by Evelaina:

• Your gear — the slings, shackles, and other rigging items you add, with their rated working load limits and any tags or notes.
• Your lift plans — the plans you save, their loads, configurations, results, and notes.
• Settings — your chosen units (lb / kg / US t / t, in / ft / mm / cm / m) and preferences.

This data is stored in a local database on your device. Rigwise does not sync to iCloud or any cloud service — your gear and plans stay on the device they were created on.

No Data Sent to Our Servers

Rigwise is self-contained. All calculations are performed on your device, and the App does not connect to any Evelaina server or third-party service to function. There is no account to create and no login. The only network the App ever uses is Apple's App Store, and only to process the one-time Pro purchase and restore it.

Rigwise Pro

Rigwise offers an optional one-time purchase, "Rigwise Pro", that unlocks the Studio (saving unlimited gear and lift plans). It is a non-consumable purchase — there is no subscription and nothing renews. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Your purchase is verified on your device through Apple's system; Evelaina does not receive or store your payment information. Restoring your purchase on a new device is free.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require an account or login.
• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers.
• We do not sell or share your data — there is no data leaving our hands to sell or share, because we never receive it.

For reference, the App's App Store privacy label declares Data Not Collected.

Calculations Are a Planning Aid

Rigwise's calculators are built to be accurate and are tested against worked examples, but results are guidance for planning a lift, not a guarantee. Rigwise is a calculation aid. Verify every result against the manufacturer's tag, the load chart, and a qualified person. It is not a substitute for an engineered lift plan or professional judgment. Rigging is inherently hazardous; the user is solely responsible for the safety of any lift.

Children's Privacy

Rigwise is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. (Since the App collects no personal information at all, this applies to everyone.)

Data Deletion

Your gear, lift plans, and settings are stored on your device. Deleting the App removes this locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
