Overview

Meniscus ("the App") is a set of resin and epoxy calculators and a project studio, published by Evelaina. This policy explains how the App handles your information. In short: Meniscus runs on your device and does not collect any personal data.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App keeps the following on your device only. It is never received, seen, or stored by Evelaina:

• Your projects — the pours you save, their titles, results, and any notes you add.
• Your material lists & pricing — the material lines and pricing inputs you add to a project.
• Settings — your chosen units (fluid ounces, gallons, millilitres, litres, or grams) and preferences.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your saved projects are stored in your own private iCloud account (via Apple's CloudKit) so they can sync across your devices. This data lives in your personal iCloud container and is managed by Apple. Evelaina cannot see, access, or retrieve it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, your projects are stored only on your device.

No Data Sent to Our Servers

Meniscus is self-contained. All calculations are performed on your device, and the App does not connect to any Evelaina server or third-party service to function. There is no account to create and no login.

Subscriptions

Meniscus offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, "Meniscus Pro", that unlocks unlimited saved projects, product pricing, and material-list export. The calculators are always free. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Your subscription status is verified on your device through Apple's system; Evelaina does not receive or store your payment information.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not require an account or login.
• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers.
• We do not sell or share your data — there is no data leaving our hands to sell or share, because we never receive it.

For reference, the App's App Store privacy label declares Data Not Collected.

Calculations Are Estimates

Meniscus's calculators are designed to be accurate, but results are guidance for planning and purchasing resin and epoxy, not a guarantee. Actual coverage, cure, and volume depend on the product and brand, temperature, technique, and your own measurements. Always follow your resin manufacturer's mixing and safety instructions, and double-check amounts before mixing. Evelaina is not responsible for materials, costs, or outcomes arising from reliance on a calculation.

Children's Privacy

Meniscus is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. (Since the App collects no personal information at all, this applies to everyone.)

Data Deletion

Your projects and settings are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud account. Deleting the App removes the locally stored data; project data held in your iCloud can be managed or removed from your device's iCloud settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
