By downloading or using Kintsu ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
Kintsu is a self-help companion for moving on after a breakup. It provides a no-contact journey tracker, daily check-ins, an attachment-style assessment, and an AI-powered message analyzer. The App is designed for personal reflection and support only.
Kintsu is an informational self-help companion and does not provide clinical, therapeutic, or medical advice. The analyzer's readings and verdicts are suggestions for reflection, not professional advice. All decisions — including whether to contact anyone — are your own. The App is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing psychological distress, contact a licensed mental health professional. In the US, you can call or text 988 in a crisis; in an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
You retain full ownership of all content you create using the App, including check-ins, unsent messages, assessment results, and message text submitted for analysis. Your journey data and history are stored on your device. Message text submitted to the analyzer is processed by a third-party AI service to generate the reading and is not stored by Evelaina.
You may use Kintsu for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
Kintsu offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, "Kintsu Pro", that unlocks additional features. Pro is offered as Weekly ($6.99) or Yearly ($39.99) — prices in USD; prices may vary by region and current pricing is displayed in the App. The free tier remains free.
The message analyzer uses artificial intelligence to interpret message text in the context of your attachment style and healing journey. AI-generated readings are for reflective purposes only and may not accurately represent the intentions, emotions, or motivations of any person. Do not rely on AI readings as a basis for significant personal decisions.
The App's design, code, assessment instruments, and analysis prompts are owned by Evelaina. Your written content and personal data are yours. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App itself without written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI readings are provided for self-awareness and reflection, not as validated clinical output.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evelaina shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI readings or assessment results, loss of data due to device failure or App deletion, or any interpersonal consequences of using the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The revised version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Evelaina operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
