Gaimen ("the App") is a study aid for Japan's foreign driver's-license conversion written and practical tests, published by Evelaina. This policy explains how the App handles your information. Your study answers and progress stay on your device, while limited purchase and advertising-attribution data is processed by Meta, Apple, and RevenueCat. Apple processes payments, and Gaimen uses Apple's StoreKit to determine purchase access on your device. There is no Gaimen account or login.
The following is kept on your device only. It is never sent to Evelaina, to Meta, or to anyone else:
Your answers and results are never transmitted. Nobody but you can see how you performed.
From version 1.5.0, Gaimen includes the Meta (Facebook) software development kit so we can tell which of our adverts actually lead people to the App. It is used for advertising measurement — not for profiling what you study.
The following is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc.:
This data is linked to you and is used for tracking as Apple defines that term, for third-party advertising and analytics. It is handled under Meta's Privacy Policy once it reaches them. We do not send Meta your answers, your scores, your weak topics, your study schedule, your name, your email address, or your location.
After you finish first-run setup, iOS will ask whether Gaimen may track you across apps and websites. You can decline, and nothing in the App stops working. Declining prevents advertising-identifier–level tracking. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device, and you can limit ad tracking system-wide in the same place.
From version 2, Gaimen uses RevenueCat, Inc. to report and analyse purchases and measure Apple Ads attribution. RevenueCat observes Gaimen's StoreKit purchase flow and may process existing transaction history and reconcile earlier ownership as well as new purchases. Apple StoreKit remains the authority for payment, purchase verification, and unlocking access; RevenueCat does not decide whether the App unlocks content.

Standard Apple Ads attribution does not use the IDFA and may be available whether you allow or deny App Tracking Transparency. Gaimen does not send RevenueCat your study answers, scores, progress, name, email address, phone number, precise location, IDFA, or Meta identifier. RevenueCat's Meta integration is not enabled.
RevenueCat handles this information for purchase reporting, reconciliation, fraud prevention, analytics, and Apple Ads attribution under RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and the applicable service terms.
Gaimen offers optional one-time purchases — "Gaimen Pro", which unlocks everything, and "Driving", which unlocks the practical-test module on its own. There are no subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple's App Store (StoreKit), and Gaimen continues to verify ownership and unlock access through Apple's system on your device. Evelaina does not receive or store your payment-card information, and there is no account to create. As described above, limited purchase data is reported to Meta for advertising measurement and to RevenueCat for purchase reporting and Apple Ads attribution.
Apple, Meta, and RevenueCat may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Their privacy policies describe how they handle international transfers.
Study data remains on your device until you delete it or the App. RevenueCat retains purchase-reporting and attribution records under its service policy. Apple and Meta retain information they hold under their own policies.
The App's App Store privacy label declares the applicable categories described above, including Identifiers, Usage Data, Purchase History, and Advertising Data. Purchase History is used for App Functionality, Analytics, and Third-Party Advertising. Meta's disclosed data remains linked to you and used for tracking as described above.
Gaimen is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Police Agency, any prefectural police, or any government body. Practice questions are original and written from public traffic-law sources. Always confirm current rules and test details with official sources.
Gaimen is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and you would like the associated advertising data removed, contact us at support@evelaina.com.
Your study progress is stored locally on your device, and deleting the App removes it. Advertising-measurement data already received by Meta is held by Meta and governed by its policy. You can manage or request deletion through Meta's Accounts Center and Meta's policy; turning off tracking as described above limits future tracking but does not delete data Meta already holds.
To request access to or deletion of data associated with RevenueCat, email support@evelaina.com. You may open Gaimen's Settings to reveal and copy the anonymous RevenueCat Support ID, when available, and include it to help us locate the record. The ID is shown and copied only when you explicitly ask; it is not logged by Gaimen. You do not need to provide your Apple password or payment details. We will use the information you provide to identify and action your request with the relevant provider, but cannot guarantee instant erasure. Apple and Meta manage information they hold under their own policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
