Eulogia ("the App") is published by Evelaina. Your privacy matters to us — especially given the deeply personal nature of this App. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
This policy covers Eulogia on iOS and Android. Writing features work locally on your device. Purchase and review services differ by platform as explained below.
Your prompt answers, eulogies, obituaries, person names, edits, drafts, and reading preferences are stored on your device. Eulogia arranges your answers locally, without an AI writing service or cloud processing. Evelaina does not receive a server copy of this writing. Your writing stays on your device unless you choose to share or export it.
Eulogia does not require a custom user account. It does not request access to your location, microphone, photos, contacts, or calendar. There are no ads or cross-app tracking features. Your writing is not sent to purchase, review, advertising, or analytics services.
PDFs and shared text are generated locally. On Android, temporary export copies are kept in the app's private cache so the system share sheet can grant temporary read access to the destination you select. The recipient app or service may retain or upload the copy under its own policy. Deleting a document in Eulogia does not delete copies you saved or shared elsewhere.
The optional one-time Pro purchase on iOS is managed through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payment. Eulogia uses RevenueCat on iOS to verify purchase entitlements; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase information. Eulogy and obituary content is not sent to RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
The optional one-time Pro purchase on Android uses Google Play Billing directly. Android Eulogia does not use RevenueCat. Google handles account and payment processing and returns purchase information, including product, purchase status and purchase token, so the app can verify and acknowledge Pro access. Eulogia keeps an ownership cache on the device to support access when offline. Evelaina does not receive your payment card details or keep a separate purchase database.
Google Play Billing automatically sends technical diagnostics and a random billing-session identifier when Eulogia opens, including for free users. This includes billing API results and device, build, locale and network information, used by Google for troubleshooting and service improvement. Google handles this information under Google's privacy policy. An optional in-app review request opens Google's review interface. If you submit a rating or review there, Google handles it under its review rules; reviews may be published on Google Play or provided as private test feedback. Eulogia does not send your writing, prompt answers or document names to either API.
If you receive a free complimentary Pro code from Evelaina, the app verifies its digital signature locally and stores the signed code on your device. The code is not sent to Evelaina or Google by this feature. It is separate from your Google Play purchase and writing. Removing complimentary access does not remove your documents or a purchased Pro entitlement.
Eulogia does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.
You can delete individual documents in the app. On Android, device backup is disabled. Clearing Eulogia's app storage or uninstalling it removes its local documents and preferences. Keep exported copies of anything you need to preserve. On iOS, removing the app removes its local writing and preferences; device backups are controlled by iOS settings. Copies exported to other apps remain there until you delete them. Google Play, Apple and RevenueCat purchase records are handled by those services and are not erased by uninstalling Eulogia.
If you email support, Evelaina receives the email address, message and any attachments you send, and uses them to respond. Avoid sending unnecessary private writing or payment information. Contact support to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
