Overview

DecodeRx ("the App") is published by Evelaina. Your privacy matters to us — especially given the sensitive nature of pharmacogenomic information. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

DecodeRx stores all data locally on your device only:

• Metabolizer phenotypes — any gene-phenotype entries you choose to record (for example, "CYP2D6 — Intermediate Metabolizer"). Stored in on-device storage. Never transmitted.
• Saved medications and notes — any medications you bookmark and personal notes you add. Stored locally.
• App preferences — onboarding completion status, display settings, and reference filters. Stored locally.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information.
• We do not collect or process raw DNA, genetic sequences, or test result files.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not access your photos, contacts, calendar, or other personal data.
• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs that collect personal data.
• We do not upload any data to external servers.
• We do not use AI, cloud processing, or any internet-based service to generate or filter content.

Offline by Design

DecodeRx ships with a bundled, offline reference library. All filtering and lookup is performed entirely on your device. The App does not require an internet connection to function, and your phenotype entries never leave your device.

Reference Card PDF Export

When you export a Pharmacogenomic Reference Card as a PDF, the file is generated locally on your device. The PDF is shared using your device's native sharing functionality. DecodeRx does not retain, upload, or have access to exported files. Once shared with another app or service, the recipient app's privacy policy applies.

In-App Purchases

DecodeRx is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising, and no third-party purchase or analytics SDKs.

Children's Privacy

DecodeRx does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.

Data Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. To delete all DecodeRx data, simply delete the App from your device. This permanently removes all stored phenotypes, saved medications, notes, and preferences.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
